Why standard burnout advice fails us.
In a corporate office, burnout has witnesses. It triggers HR protocols, sick days, and sympathy. It is often worn as a "Badge of Honor."
This isn't a mindset issue. It’s a structural one.
Freelance burnout is a distinct occupational phenomenon caused by isolation, financial uncertainty, and blurred boundaries. You can't fix a structural problem with a bubble bath. You fix it by building a new framework.
Over 4 weeks, we will work together in a small group to dismantle the barriers that keep you in survival mode. We focus on tools designed to work under pressure - when the client is emailing, the invoice is late, and the kids are home.
The Logistics:
Format: 4 Live Sessions (60 mins each)
Group Size: Strictly limited to 15 participants for safety and depth.
When: Tuesdays at 12:00 PM EST, starting February 24th.
Where: Zoom (Link provided upon registration).
We move beyond the generic feeling of "I'm tired" to pinpoint exactly what is draining you. We will identify your personal burnout sources - separating actual work load from the "mental load" of decision fatigue and isolation.
Stop fighting a vague enemy and start managing a specific set of triggers.
Why do we feel guilty when we aren't working? We will unpack how structural pressure turns into self-blame. You will learn clinical techniques to neutralize the shame spiral that usually ruins your weekends.
Learn to separate your self-worth from your productivity.
Most burnout advice tells you to stop working. But what if you have bills? We focus on reducing psychological strain when stopping isn't an option. We will build tools to manage the nervous system specifically around money and insecurity.
Learn to operate through financial fluctuation without entering "survival mode."
Freelancing is inherently unstable. In our final session, we build your "Psychological Safety Floor"- stabilizing anchors that keep you grounded even when the market (or your client list) is volatile.
Leave with a personalized maintenance plan to support continued work with less strain.
Meytal Raizes - Freelance Occupational Psychologist
I specialize in freelance burnout because I’ve lived it. I know the unique texture of the "quiet crash" that happens when working from home.
I don't believe in "hustle culture," but I also don't believe in toxic positivity. I use my background in neuropsychology and occupational health to help freelancers build the missing infrastructure they need to feel human again.
